well it's all about marketing, a way to attract people to get the product/service. they are definitely doing the opposite
I see what you're saying, but most people are not that crazy(particular) about cars(especially the LS430) as you
To ordinary folks, a comfortable ride in a luxurious LS to look at houses would make them quite happy, & they won't care how you paint the car outside
I would use them too, I seldom get driven with me in the back seat of a LS430, that would be quite nice for me. It's not my car anyway, so who cares ?

Advertising like this is distracting for other motorists.
It doesn't take much to get noticed, this seems to be one of those "mine is bigger than your's" deals in advertising. Now if we see this on a Maybach, Bentley...

I disagree - Perception is everything. If this realtor doesn't have the 'common sense' to know that this is completely tasteless & inappropriate, no way in He!! will they get my business. While I agree having a luxurious & comfortable car to drive clients around in is paramount, having gaudy advertising plastered all over their car gives me pause - can I be confident these people know how to do the appropriate inspections or will look out for my best interests in any purchasing decision ???
"Common sense" can be different depending on whether they are people who love cars & people that just look at them as an appliance.
I love cars & I don't like what he did with the car, & I would not do the same if I were in the real estate business driving clients around in a LS430.
But I absolutely would not judge the merit of a real estate agent just based on how he paint the exterior of his/her car, I would talk to them just the same as with any other real estate agents, gaudy car or not, to get a feel of how good they can be doing business in real estate. I would not let my love for cars cloud my sound judgement. That's my "common sense"

Oh man, that thing makes me wanna cry just looking at it!!!! I mean really, I could respect an agency that has a clean looking Chevy more than I could this agency. I would not want to be riding around town looking at houses in that. This thing oversteps the boundaries of being gawdy and is just plain Fugly, not matter who the manufacturer is. Even they had top apologize for it on their website because they recognize it to be an eyesore, but they try to save themselves by saying that their cars are ugly but their service isnt HMMMM.......AHHHHHHHH....NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!.
There is a real estate company called Foxtons here in the Tri-State and I believe they give their agents free company cars. The only thing is they are green Mini Coopers with the same promotional wrap. I will admit one thing, I know a Foxton car when I see it (even at a quick glance). That being said, I think doing it to a LS430 is pushing it.
