I would like to enter text (ie a new destination) into the GPS while driving. Does anyone have cheat codes or service codes or instructions for changing the hardwire or wiring to trick the Navigation into thinking that the car is at a full stop?

I have a 2002 LS430.

if it's 02, it's different, i think you push on menu, and then system (or the dvd button), and then do the top left, bottom left, top left ,bottom left, bottom right, and the menu will come up

if you want to use switch, you need to splice the speed sensor wire behind the nav unit, i am not 100% sure what wire that would be. but it has to be switch so you can put it on and off
