Default Navigation speed sensor bypass on LS430

I'm trying to locate the speed pulse wire in my '02 LS430 so that I can install a toggle switch to allow passengers to input destinations into the navigation system while moving.

I know from previous discussions and appends that the wire I'm looking for is violet with a white stripe, and is on pin 5 of the connector on the back of the nav system.

Is there an easier place to access this wire? If not, is it possible to get at the plug without disassembling things? I really, really don't want to start taking the dash apart.

Thanks for any help!

Sean

Nobody knows how to do this? Or is it that it is too difficult to find the wire without taking the entire dash apart?

Anyone?
