Default Discounts on 05'

What kinda discounts should I be expecting?

So far it's around 4000$ish off MSRP on a black on black with Custom Lux package + Smart Access + Spt Package.

Sound about right?

Dad picked the LS430 over the Maser QP so the LS430 better be a damned good deal otherwise I will have a cow!

umm, i forgot (i saw too many numbers when i was shopping), here in cali, it's something like around 69k for UL. considering that the msrp is like 74-75k, that's about 5k saving. i hope that can be a reference point for you

PS i only considered the UL so i didn't pay too much attention to modern luxury and sport

Oh how I wish I could convince my dad to go UL if not the Maser

5k still isn't what I was aiming for, but then again, aren't the UL's much more rarer?

when they first came out in 04, i know that the UL was sold out all the time (people on waiting list), and it was sold at msrp. but i think now everything is back to normal. last time when i was at dealership, they had decent number of all ls430, i am not sure if that means you can get more bargain power on the sport though

if you want more discount, it's probably not the time right now, towards june or july that's where the 06 will come out

I just received a quote from a dealer on the west coast for virtually the same car including factory
chrome wheels. The figure I got was $6,815 below the MSRP of $67,430 including delivery to
the Dallas area. I don't know how legitimate these internet prices really are. It will be about 60 days before I am ready to buy and have not shopped my local dealers yet. I just purchased an
05 RX330 for my wife for a little over 4,000 below msrp, I would hope to do much better than that on the LS.

We just told them we'd do 8600$ discount. I await the call.

You should be able to get $9k off the price of a UL packaged LS. I can get a new 05 ultra lux LS430 for $63500.

lol, some people want some huge discounts... You might be able to get them if the car has been on the lot for a while or if they are strangled for $$$, but other than that, it would be hard thing to do...
