Still, if you have a good relationship with your service advisor, you could probably just have him order the DVD for you and get it installed on your next service visit.

Lift the trunk carpet on the right side.
Lift the cover over the spare tire and locate the panel to the right.
Pull the one plastic plug holding a panel to the right of the spare, the drive is now exposed.
Remove the two hex head screws with phillips slots.
Lift the front of the drive (side closest to the spare), rotating the front up.
Slide the open/close slide to the open position.
Turn the Ignition to on, the Nav screen will warn that the DVD door is open.
Push the button of the open/close slide and the drive will eject the DVD.
Now we need to understand what is on the DVD so we can make an update to remove the initial question screen. There are a lot of .KWI files that are the Nav System data. If anyone knows Japanese, that would help. I found the link -
www.yetanotherhomepage.com/ j7xx/software/editors/kwiddce.html
that goes to Knowledgeware, Inc., but I can't follow what to do next.
I wouldnt delete any of the files as you mite just delete the cursor that shows wher u r.
