Default 04 LS430 RUCA (rear upper control arms) problem

As the title states. Im having trouble with the removal of my rear upper control arms. I needed new ruca's for the adjustability to fit new wheels but i cannot seem to remove the rear bolt from the arm. The bolt is accesible from the front to fit a socket and breaker bar but it is spinning the nut on the other side as well, which is SO INCONVENIENTLY nestled in a cocoon of metal made up of the rear subframe and what im assuming is the gas tank. Basically making the rear nut inaccessible to reach with a socket or wrench to hold from spinning.

my question is: has anybody here done this job before and do they have any insight or any tips & tricks to get this done?

Ive searched youtube and Google and most people timelapse the process or just dont provide insight other than to say its a P.I.T.A and a poor design.

Im beginning to wonder if im the only unfortunate soul who's rear nut is spinning with the bolt, preventing me from being able to break it loose to remove it.

T.I.A for any feedback

Have you detached the ball joint from the knuckle?
This would free the control arm to swing up and down freely, it could provide access you didn't have before.
I feel your pain, the rear suspension is no picnic. Sometimes you have to get creative.
