Default Footwell led light?

Hello
04 Ls430. The foot led light once opened from it's bclacis a led soldered on a circuit board. Is that a 12v led? I have a new 12v led. Can I just solder if to the incoming wire red and black and remove the little circuit board? As a test it worked.

I messed up the little circuit board. So wondering if it's ok to wire a 12v led directly.

Can any one look up that original foot led (its whole harness with the bulb and a connector). Pictures attached

No LED is 12 volts they are generally 1.5-3.2 volts depending on colour, power and other factors. The first picture is the replacement LED?

No, This is what
when you wire 12v directly to the LED. Watch the video at 1:21.

The tiny circuit board has two resistors and a zener diode.

The first picture is the original factory led soldered on the little board.

I did order 12v rated bare Leds. Now they may have something inside them that reduces the voltage but rated for 12v input. I got both 3mm and 5mm to try.

So can these be connected directly?

Looks like you got LEDs with built in resistor so that PCB will have to be bypassed.
