i just got to LED strips and want to hook them up to the driver and passenger footwell. how do i hook them up to the little LED light that is already in that spot?

if there is already a thread for this just send me the link i searched but didn't find what i was looking for.

Um...just tap the footwell led wires. Make sure polarity is correct.

 

pull off the covers underneath. and then tap into the wires. i didnt like mine dimming when i switch out of park so i hooked it up to the cigarette lighter that way it stays bright all the time
