Smartkey frequency for different regions
Smartkeys help . I recently bought a LS430 . it came with a damaged smartkey ( the middle unlock button is missing completely) . However because the remote still has keyless entry it's ok while it lasts .
I bought a new key from eBay from somewhere in USA . I managed to connect the key to the car to start it when I insert the key . So it passed the immobilizer etc . Then I tried to program the remote part of the key . I insert the key and close the door a bunch of times and the car goes into program mode by unlocking and locking but then when I press the lock/unlock button on the new key . Nothing happens .
The eBay seller I got the key from said it maybe a different frequency between USA and Asia cars .
So my question is . What are the frequencies and which one do I need for an Asia car . Located Thailand .
Thanks in advance

Most remote keyless systems for cars in North America operate at 315 MHz, while those in Europe, Japan, and Asia operate at 433.92 MHz.
A USA SmartKey is useless anywhere except for the USA & Canada.
I believe the part number for the EUR spec is 89995-50401.
