Alternative windshield weatherstripping for noise
I'm wondering what the difference between replacing OEM left, right and top weatherstripping vs taping and using isobutyl rubber to seal windshield to stop the common noise problem.
Tape I'v read is used here but I was thinking of using isobutyl rubber with a 3m strip on top.
I was wondering what people might think on this issue. From what I read the tape idea doesn't really work that well, OEM sets are close to 300 bucks but that might be the way to go.
