Default Wind noise at freeway speeds

I have a slightly annoying issue in my 02 LS. When traveling at 70mph or more, especially with a crosswind, I am hearing a whistling noise. It's definitely coming from the front of the car, but hard to localize horizontally. Maybe around the windshield or fresh air intake for the A/C. Car is extremely quiet all other times. Anyone know what it could be, if common? Thanks!

It's most likely coming from where the top molding meets the sides of the windshield. I have had two windshields put in due to damage and I had the installer seal this area with his sealer. It is very quiet now. The most quiet it has ever been. Try popping the side the side molding off and see about gaps where wind can swirl around and create noise. I don't believe you can properly replace the top molding without taking the windshield out.

I had wind noise caused by what seems to be a cracked weatherseal that engages the top of the window when fully raised in the drivers door.
If I drop the window just a tiny bit, to relieve pressure on the seal, the noise stops. I'm lowering the window maybe an 1/8 to 1/4 inch so the seal is still holding the glass sufficiently to avoid open window noise.

I'm holding off tearing the door apart to replace this seal until I know more about the steps needed and this little kludge stops working. I'm on borrowed time but so far so good.
