Rear Camera Issue on 2005 LS430: No Display on Screen
Hi fellow Lexus enthusiasts,
I've encountered an issue with my 2005 LS430's rear camera. Suddenly, the screen stopped displaying the camera view when I shift into reverse. I suspect the camera itself might still be functioning, so the problem could lie with the connectors or a fuse.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any guidance on how to check the connectors or identify a blown fuse related to the rear camera system would be greatly appreciated.

If you are getting a black screen when you select Reverse, then chances are your camera has died.
A few of us have had this issue on the UK forum. In our cases it was corrosion that damaged the circuit boards in the camera module.
The only fix I have come up with is to replace it with a used or new camera module.
