Default 2004 LS-430 Crystal White

Just put down a deposit on a Modern Luxury package with Smart Access. We are getting Crystal White with Cashmere interior. It is supposed to be here in a few days.

I couldn't get but $1500 discount off the sticker price. I tried three dealers and they all said that was it! This dealer is less than 15 miles from my house, so at least the service should be convenient.

I suppose I could wait until next year when inventory levels are higher, but at least we can begin enjoying riding in style....... Not sure how much more I would save by waiting.

What is the out the door cost? $1500 off and $3000 off from what price? Is it $70,5xx.00 minus $3000?

Mine was $55,125 base plus $6409 for Modern Lux package, smart key, wheel locks, trunk mat, sport package, and cargo net. MSRP $62,159 minus 3k = $59,159 before tax and other BS

I check out a few dealers in southern CA and all of them have MSRP at $70,5xx.00 for the ultra lux model. I don't see 18" wheels on those model.

You cannot get the factory 18's on an Ultra Luxury model. It's only on the Sport Package.

They are offering $1500 off a sticker price of $61,939 for the Modern Luxury package plus Smart Access
(Not the Sport Package) which comes to $60,439 plus fees.

How hard was it to get $3000 off? Did your dealer have much inventory? This dealer seems to be selling them as fast as they can get them. I put a deposit down and it should be in late this week or next week.

I wouldn't be opposed to getting the deposit back and going elsewhere (within reason) to save $1500.

Someone on this board swore they got the factory 18" wheels on their Ultra Luxury.

Techinically there's little doubt that it is doable, but it is only up to the dealers to do it for their customers as it is not one of the official option combinations from Lexus.
I bet some dealers will do it if a potential buyer says "gimme an Ultra Lux with 18"'s or I'll go buy a <insert a competitor's name>!!". To some that's simply a deal breaker.

I'm not sure about the other districts, but on the west coast it is not possible to get the factory 18's on a Ultra Luxury car. Yes, if a buyer states they want 18's on their car, it's just a matter of some aftermarkets. But I am talking about having them already on the car from Japan. The easy way to tell from far away if they are 18's or not is to count the spokes. 18's have 5 spokes and 17's have 6 spokes. I just had a customer who reeeeally wanted the 5 spoke wheel on his UL car.

We asked for and got our deposit back today. We test drove a Crystal White/Cashmere and are not sure about that color combination for our taste. We are going to check out a Silver/Ash and see how that makes us feel. For that much money, it needs to be perfect!

I want to hold out for a better price too.
