Default Ls400 2000 with Code P0135

good day,

i have more than 300k miles on this car LS400 2000 model, am getting code P0135 tried to clear it but it is comming back, tried to switch sensor of banks but still getting same code

the strange thing is that my sensor on bank 2 is reading zero while bank 1 is reading between .1 to .8 which seems normal and fuel trims of bank 2 are ready 19%, would appreciate a help

The heater is open. You need to change the sensor.

I have teied swithcing the sensor from bank 1 to bank 2 and still got same error, it seems not related to the sensor, do this sensor have any fuse or something it seems it is not getting any power!

Have you checked the resistance of the bank 1 of sensor 1?

Could i know which side is bank 1 driver or passenger?

i have searched and found that bank 1 refers to driver side, but am wondering my sensor on bank 1 seems fine while bank 2 is the one which does not read any volts! strange

No i have not checked resistance, could you guide how to do that please

You've done well if these originals lasted to 300K. Would also suggest changing them in pairs.

Easiest way is cylinder 1 location indicates the bank side.

Rock Auto has the upstream Denso 234-4169 for $37.79 each.
