NAV screen display - Fix options
My nav display screen has been white for about a year now. I went ahead and removed the NAV unit from my dash and replaced it with a non-nav hvac unit. So now my hvac controls are working again. I dont have a radio but thats no big deal to me. My question is has anyone ever had the factory NAV unit repaired/fixed. I recall a few years back a mention of a company that did this sort of repair. IIRC you had to remove the unit and send it to them ???? It would be nice to have the touch screen back and working again. assuming it can be done at a reasonable cost. Any info on cost/repair time/ and the name of the company who did those repairs would be appreciated.

I will have mine from the Celsior as I am going to be replacing the radio soon if you are interested in it. It looks like the adhesive under the touch screen was exposed to heat at some point but it works totally fine. Also some of it is in Japanese, I'm not sure if these are interchangeable between the LS and Celsior

added functions:
- rearview camera
- play video files from usb
- play audio files from usb
- aux
- bluetooth (for music listening wireless)

Yes your stock headunit can be renovated
also can be upgraded with all stock functions saved
added functions:
- rearview camera
- play video files from usb
- play audio files from usb
- aux
- bluetooth (for music listening wireless)

but it implied remove own graphic PCB with own lcd and install a led lcd and other graphic controller.
also install mediaplayer inside cassette deck
