Default Nav unit died

No more music...anyone have any leads on a non nav deck with vents?

I noticed you posted in the "water in trunk" thread. Be advised that the NAV unit doesn't work without that hard drive unit in the trunk operational. Make sure it's dry and functional.

This one? Didn't see any water on it. That thing kills the screen? Thus killing radio etc?

The moisture in there probably didn't help. I'm curious, may take it out and look inside to check for any moisture damage.

I did that this morning, didnt look like any in there. Is that the hard drive unit required for nav? Nav has never worked for me, always said check hdd.

The screen won't work if that hard drive isn't plugged in. No radio. No climate. Nothing.

Sure, but I'm not sure if the NAV cars are wired for plug and play on the non-nav radios and climate boxes. Maybe someone else knows.
