Default Quick question on brake pad sensors

I swear I just read my answer yesterday but now I cannot find it.

I just changed my front pads and instead of replacing the sensor I just jumped the wires together and all seemed well. Fast forward this morning and the warning light is on again. Isn't the passenger side sensor the last in the series, ie if that sensor is good no warning light?

I am curious about this too, considering $125 for a new sensor.

The sensor can be reapaired if you are competent but I'd rather just buy a new one for $25 bucks and not have to take it all apart a second time if you screw it up.

Or on ebay they're cheaper... should be two of them, both on the passenger side, one in the front, one in the rear.
If you swap out pads early then you don't need to buy them again.

There is a very cheap method to fix but I'd say this is really a poor man's method.

Just buy off RockAuto....its a wire that either connects a circuit or doesn't to trip the light on in the cluster. No need to be extorted for that amount of money when they're available for a fraction of the price.
