1995 LS400 cranks but won't start.
1995 LS400. Parked it for a couple weeks and now turns over fine but will not fire. Sprayed starter fluid in air intake and briefly achieved ignition. The check engine light does not light up when key is inserted and turned. Thank you, Tom S

Additional info
Batteries good and spark is present. Got fire with starter fluid introduction. Does the fact that the check engine light fails to illuminate at all, even upon initial key turn lend itself to ecm failure? Are problems like that a spontaneous event ae. turning off and setting will be enough to initiate. Car has 115,000 miles and ran fine until short layoff.
Thank you all for your responses,
TS

Old school diagnostics sez . . . if you briefly achieved a little running, you can rule out the ignition system and focus on the fuel system.
Check for cranking fuel pressure, if no, pump/circuit. If yes, injector circuits including cam position sensors, AFM, etc.
