95 ls400 ticks when i turn the key
when i try to start the car sometimes it ticks and nothing happens. its not a rapid dead battery tick just one tick. i try several times until the car starts. i just replaced the battery and terminal. any ideas?

Yep, it's the starter, just did it on mine (replaced contacts/plunger only) in December. What a pain.

Make sure your batt's not the prob. Check your grounds to the starter. Also check the starter relay.

it sucks ive sat in my driveway till my hand got tired of turning the key before i got it started once.

^Yup same amount of miles as me. Best advice i can give you is take your time. Don't rush anything.
Oh and did i mention it sucks.
