Default Questions about MANUAL SWAP!!

So I'm looking to do a manual swap on my 92 LS400 while keeping the stock 1UZFE. The two main swaps I've seen are R154 and W58. I'm not gonna be putting down big power so I don't need the more expensive R154, but I'm looking for input from people that maybe have done it and/or someone that has a full W58 trans or another trans that would work. Not swapping motor or doing any forced induction so please, I'm NOT looking for those kind of suggestions. Only mods I have are a full 2.5" straightpipe, obx headers and Godspeed mono coils (both going on very soon, got gen for Xmas), and I'll be looking to weld my diff.

Collins Adapters sells kits to bolt on the CD00x trans from the 350z, which are pretty tough and can be found a lot cheaper than the Toyota models. That's the route I will undoubtedly be going, as it looks very straightforward. Search around in the SC400 forum, a few guys have done it there with great results.
