Default Blower Motor Stopped Working 1991 LS400

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this is a re-post, but i've searched forums now for over 3 hours and no one has a solid answer to this common issue.

My Blower motor stopped working recently. I have hooked up power directly to the blower and it does work fine. I have changed the following parts

Transistor
Resistor
Control Unit

All my buttons work and "beep" as they are selected on my control unit, and you can even hear the High relay kick in when the high setting is selected.

Any information on this issue is greatly appriciated

Thanks

Run the diagnostic test on it. If you can't find it, maybe when I get the time I'll post it. Lots of typing .......

Hmmmm its our lucky day I just found this. It still needs better instructions though.

This may seem like a stupid question, but have you checked your fuse?

Seems to me that the thing to do is get a volt meter and a wiring diagram and follow the circuit back toward the battery and find out where the voltage drops out.

Yea im about 8 hours in, diagnosing this issue, and cant quite figure it out. I have hooked power up to the blower and it seems to work fine. Also put a new resistor in. I have put a different climate control unit in as well, and still nothing. Im noticing that i do not have a hot wire, or constant power to my High relay, no matter the setting. From my understanding the high relay then feeds to the resistor, and this will determine the fan speed. I have reset all the breakers as well. Checked all fuses more than once. Im wondering if i have a grounding issue, or possibly a bad breaker? Something that would eliminate the blower from seeing power. Any suggestions?

Would really like to get back to winter in the lead sled......
