LS400 Wipers not working

Dad's LS400 the wiper motor stopped working. He picked up the new motor and installed it and still the wipers are not working.

So what could it be, a bad relay

or some other electronic issue...

Any suggestion... Thanks!

check fuse+relays...

should have been the first thing he checked....

Check if no mode works ,as i would check the switch

Thanks for the replies... i called him this morning and he did check the fuses. He ran both the old and the new motor direct from the battery and the new motor runs much smoother where the old one is tight. Also the washer fluid is not coming out as well.

So we need to check the relay now. Anyone knows where that is located in the 91 LS400?
