Can anyone here scan the owner's manual page that shows owners how to replace all of their bulbs without needing a crow bar? It is easy to do with no more than a 10mm wrench and a phillips screwdriver.

Default Worked with 2000 Lexus Ls400

Thanks for your post. I followed the instructions, replaced the bulb, and fixed the Taillamp Failure on my 2000 LS

Default Consider country of origin on replacement parts

Purchased 7440 and 7443 tail lamp and turn signal bulbs "Made in Japan"

Wagner is sourced in Tiawan (avoid)

Some Sylvania bulbs are made in Japan

Phillips depicted below are designed in Germany, made in Japan (probably best)

Long life Phillips brand purchased from Rock Auto. 7443 (empty package because already installed) are dual filament and 7440 is single filament Selected turn signal bulbs with LL (long life) amber colored bulbs as constant blinking significantly decreases filament life. Amber bulb offers more uniform backlight coloration of an amber lense.

Packaging lists Countries of design and manufacture. We consider if the Country of origin is our friend when we buy from them or their proxies.

Will keep that in mind, thanks!

Sylvania offerings seem to be the most common among the local shops in my area. I don't have an issue with them though don't expect long life or such. I replace the 921's in the high mount at 2 year intervals. The rest of the bulbs except one or two of the tail light combi bulbs are the originals. One can interpret that as we don't have the car out at night often and this is true.
