I'm with Dave. Not out of date by a long shot and your posts are beneficial the LS400 owners now and those to come. My uncle at 93 loves his internet time and the experience of being in contact with people all over the world. What he sends is quite informative/interesting and a perspective I know so little about. There is always a spot for you here so we welcome your posts. My thanks and appreciation.
Besides, there are LS's out there that may have your name on them. (Not just 400's, 430's and 460's.)
You have great info and more LS400 experience then 95% of the people on these forums. Don't let the angry teens and silly kids keep you from sharing your love of the car around here.
Take a break and come back when you feel like looking around again! and if not, keep living and loving life!
it's folks like you that keep these cars on the road, with your enthusiasm and knowledge base! i love seeing your contribution and clean clean cars throughout the years.
"We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield." Psalm 33:20, God bless brother!
please stay active on the forum billy! Your old Poly bushings are still in my 95. Your generosity with the knowledge and first-hand experience have been vital to me keeping my old ls400's on the road. My buddy replaced the starter contacts on my 95, and your advice pictures really helped! I believe my wife's 2000 is still on its original starter at 235k. The 95 failed right around 150k.
Chiming in from self-induced educational-related seclusion I honestly hope you decide to keep posting here, you provide a valuable contribution to the LS400 forum.

Billy;Say it ain't so.A respite will do wonders.See you soon.
Billy, just cut the silly talk and get yourself back on here... you may be retired form work, but not from life.. your insight, experience and positive attitude are what help to make this forum a source of useful and helpful information. ...
Billy your being 81 gives you over 60 years of automotive experience and wisdom that we all can benefit from. No one knows everything. I have read and benefited from many of your posts and you certainly have enough knowledge to stick in here with us until the Lord calls you home. Your never too old !
this thing has grown so big, and there are so many good tech guys out there that I just thought I would back off and make "some" happy, I get sorta cynical sometimes and rub folks the wrong way... but all I have read is nice stuff, not one "good riddance" so I will linger for a while and try to be nice..
thanks to all...

good riddance, glad that senile old fart is finally gonna be leaving us alone
billy i love your cynicism haha, some people just can't take the heat and get all offended at anything... the internet is clearly not the place for them
on the real though you're a huge help to this forum, the "some" you're trying to make happy certainly won't outweigh the nearly everyone who will be unhappy if you completely stop posting
Go ahead and rub us the wrong way, it makes this place exciting, none of us should take things on these sites too personal, it is all a learning experience for us all. I apologize for biting back when I do. I'm so very happy you decided to stay. This site needs your wisdom.
