Help!!!! Crashed car - tire's fault?
hi guys so last night I got in a wreck totaled my 98LS I was getting on the freeway (was on the on ramp already) going 25mph something popped my rear pass side tire I spun out hit a guard it shot me off into a 360 and I slammed into the wall... vhel totaled.. can I goto the city or what can I do? was brand new tire... CHP (CALIFORINA HIGHWAY POTROL) officer said it is a city hazard

25mph 360 spin! yeah you might have been going faster if you spun around. sorry to hear!
as for the tire, if the CHP officer said it's a city hazard that meant there was probably a pothole or void you hit that caused the tire to pop and made you spin. i hope you were able to get a report from the officer to be able to use it in court or other evidence. you can also take pictures of the actual thing you hit and use it as well. good luck!

I think I just saw your car on Craigslist while searching for a part. That sure doesn't look like 25MPH damage to me.

Go to YouTube and watch some crash tests. The amount of damage in that Craigslist ad IS plausible for a head on 25mph hit.Glad to hear you are okay and that your LS saved you!
