Default Sensor on radiator

Quick question, there a sensor on the bottom of the radiator, is that another ect sensor? Since I am in the process of doing timing belt and water pump I am going ahead and changing the ect sensor and thermostat and yes I am going all oem for this stuff I just want to confirm if the sensor at the bottom of the radiator the same as the ect sensor by the water inlet, and this will be for my 98 LS400

snap a picture please? Don't recall there being any senders on the radiator itself.

Edit:found evidence of a "Switch, Temperature Detect No.2" part no. 89428-33010 which may/may not be used as a cooling fan switch.
unless you have problems with the fan engaging, not worth replacing imho.

I'll try to snap a pic later on today :P the sensor/switch is on the driver side of the car if the radiator is still install in the car, and the other side is the drain plug.

yes, it is the temperature sensor for the electric cooling fan - mounted into radiator, bottom corner, driver's side, not a bad idea to replace, they go bad when they get old, and could cause you to easily overheat!

Got cha! I'm in the process of ordering these parts and would like to order all at once to get here around the same time now with the sensor on the radiator is it the same exact part number as the one on the water inlet? I was looking on Sewell to find that one but no luck, only the one on the water inlet. If it is the same I can just order two of the same one on the water inlet, it does look the same to me though

no, it is not the same one at all - the radiator fan one is 89428-33010

but it is rather expensive, so you could wait on that one, but if the car ever begins to overheat, that is one of the first things to look at!

if you disagree with the part number I cited, you might want to let Sewell Lexus know
