Default Radiator fan stays on all the time..

I have this issue with my GS430.

I recently bought this car and i notice that the fan was not turning off.

I then check and notice that the coolant temp sensor was not there.

I connected an is300 sensor to the plug and the radiator and still the fans are on all the time.

I replace the fan relay and nothing.

What could it be?

The last owner replace the radiator, but i think he lost the sensor and never plug it. Is there a way to wire the fan to make it on all the time????

Please help CL family

thanks

Stan

There are 3 relays. Are you sure the sensor is the right one?

There is the main relay plus each fan has one also. There are also 2 switches. The water temp and the A/C single pressure.

For the sensors, one is at the block and the other one goes in the radiator correct?

The block one is just about even with the front of your passenger side strut and the radiator one is on the drivers side.
