Congrats to you... and yes, you are lucky that your parents would get you such a find car at such a young age. Seems you want to take care of it... and that is a good sign. Not all teens are of that mind set. And yes, you may well be the youngest LS owner on the forum.
Precisely! And thank you. Would I say this is a good first car? Probably not, if you drive a lot. Now since I only drive it ~2 days a week on a state road (basically a street that operates at low highway speeds) I can usually squeeze 2-3 weeks out of a tank. Back on the topic of cars up for grabs, you guys may want to check eBay right now. There's a pretty good deal of cars with <100k on their respective odometers. Here's a link.
