It's probably a misprint. I am not doubting that an LS can have that amount of mileage cause we know it can. The price is too high though so it most likely has 53K or so. They would wholesale the car out if it had that much mileage.

They can ask whatever they want. There are some stupid people who don't care about money. When I bough my car, it was listed for $34. They sold it to me for $24K. It took some time to negotiate the price, but I saved $10K.

It is possible...
Everytime i go to the lexus dealer for service, at JM lexus our local lexus dealer in Margate FL...They have a plaque on the wall that read the "100k mile club" and "200k mile club" and the 300k Mile club" and the 400k+ mile club"..Obviously there are alot of people with 100k, but there were two ls400's with 400k miles on the wall.....I thought it was very impressive..

I was in talking with the fleet sales manager Desmond Thompson at Cerritos Lexus a spell back and we were discussing the longevity of the LS. He pulled out a repair sheet and showed me a listing of various Lexus models with what repair and recorded milage. Highlighted was a '90 with low 400K on it and what it was being serviced for on that visit.
It has had some typical wear items replaced: rack pinion, AC condensor, water, oil pump, PS pump...however the engine had not been opened.

You just gotta love Toyota cars. I'm prepared to go into 200k miles in my '95 LS400. Only 115+k miles now, but I feel strongly that I can depend on this thing better than my '03 Corvette Z06 with 4000 miles or our old Talon AWDs with half the miles. Right now, it only needs to have fuel filter, accessory belt (cracking) and an idler pulley replace, no biggies. I'll go 100k miles at a time, but heck, if it didn't get totalled, I'm going to try my hardest to get it to half million miles or beyond !
