Default 91 Ls400 Intake And Exhaust ?

Sup guys im new to the forum. i just bought a 91 ls400 about a week ago after driving a benz for a little over a year. I really love driving this car. Anywayz i'm going to add the red and white jdm tail lights, clear bumper lights soon and I also wanted to get a RMM Air Intake System but after reading one of the threads im having second thoughts. What's wrong with this intake? Has anybody installed a blitz nur-spec exhaust on there ls4? I've seen a 93 with it and was curious if it would fit on my 91. Can you guys name a few exhausts that will fit on my car without any custom work. Thanks in advance. Also you guys should check out this site...its the best ls400 aftermarket parts site ive found so far. http://www.i-m-racing.com/lexusls400430.html

Modding the existing air box is the best way to gain power. Aftermarket intakes have shown to lose power and torque.

here is a helpful link for modifiying your stock air box.

As for the exhausts yes 90-94 LS400's are all the same.

welcome to clublexus

The Japanese ones go on a different scale..

It's more like 1989-1994.5
1994.5 to 1996.5
1997-200- something and on..

I can't think of how it goes..they actually use months instead of decimals. It's like August of 1989 - June of 1994. for the first gen.

Something like that..
