Default 90 ls400 issues

last night I was driving along then I lost all power items. radio, gauges, heat, and drive lights.
the things I did today was test ALL relays, fuses, grounds, and cleaned the battery terminals and any discolored open connectors. all of the fuses are good, all relays are good, I also checked the alt and when everything works it charges at 14v but when everything didn't work the car dies when the battery is disconnected and it show a voltage drop to 12v so that means that the alt is not charging. I disabled my ps so no its not leaking on to the alt.

my question is there any other reason for the lost of all powered items.

sounds like a bad battery, replace it with a new one and then recheck the voltage with car on and then with car off

should be greater than 13.6V on and 12.5V off

check the alternator ground, if it's corroded or internally broken it'll randomly kill the car.

thick cable attached to a nut and bolt on the alternator itself.

Sounds like a slip ring issue to me.

I have had a battery with an intermittent fault before. Only took a year to trace that one down. If you've got a spare battery (or swapping with another of your cars), that might help to isolate it and really verify that the battery is good.

loose ground connection or loose connection at battery terminals, fuse links, fuse boxes

this should not be that hard to find, actually, be glad it comes and goes with vibration, this makes it much easier to locate - have someone sit in car and watch powered items, while you go under hood and start whackin stuff with a soft mallet that could be suspect - i.e. ground strap connections, battery cables, connections etc.
