Default Replacement Key

Ok so my key decided to give up the ghost & die. Have replaced the battery TWICE to isolate the issue but to no avail. Just wondering what others have done when it goes. Can only assume the Lexus dealer will want my first born for a replacement.

Cheers in advance.

I spent 80 for one. Was just a key without remote button. A dealer.

Well you will probably have to get a whole new keyless entry system from them. Thats why i only got a key and went with a aftermarket system. Way cheaper.

not sure if your key is required to be reprogrammed to your car to start, i know our first gen UCF10 models don't have to but that's for cars stateside.
