My car didnt come with the key with the buttons on it and I dont really feel like paying for a dealership to cut and program one... would it be possible to just pick up a universal key pad and program it?

Unless you have the Programming hard and softwere it would be almost impossible for you to program a universal Fob to work on your car! The security system is an intrigute part of the programming cycle. If anyone could do it there'de be Lexui missing all over the place.

Let the dealership handle it.

 

I'm pretty sure you can get the key from ebay, get it laser cut from a key cutting store. And program the key yourself...

IMO, I think you should search on .net for how to program your keys to see if/how you do it first, than go on with your purchase.

yes you can program the luck unluck buttens but your car won't start. bicous of the chip in the key you have to go to dealer for that.
