Default Need help picking out my next lexus

Hello, new to this forum. I have a 92 LS400 that just turned 200,000 miles. Before that I had a 91 that also went 200k before I traded it in on this one.

I am a master mechanic & have serviced both cars meticulously. The 92 has just gotten a new timing belt & water pump along with a major tune up last year. It has now developed a front seal leak so I am going to have to tear it back down to replace that before I sell it. It is a great car, but I think it is time to go. Anyone want a nice LS?

Anyhow I am looking at an 01 GS430 as an upgrade. I really like how smooth the ride on the LS is, & want to keep a smooth ride in whatever I buy. Can anyone tell me how an 01 GS430 would compare to a 92 LS400 as far as ride quality goes? Also any other comparisons would be appreciated too! Thanks!

Maybe an 1 - 03 LS430 would be better?

Both are excellent choices and they have their characteristics to deal with. The LS430 would be my pick.

Well I got my "new" lexus. I bought an '02 GS300. It only has 37,000 miles on it, & after I traded in my LS, & gave them $2000 down, I only paid $10,000 for it! SMOKIN deal!
