Default 1995 ls400 headlight help

my left headlight works fine but my passenger headlight low beam wont work but the high beam does. i think it might be the dimmer switch relay but not sure and also my alternater keeps giving out i think. i got it rebuilt and it worked fine for a week and then it gave out again i dont know if maybe they rebuilt it wrong or what and i also drive with my high beams on and i think that might affect it as well. if any body has any imput it would be appriciated

The alternater should be able to support your headlights hibeams or other wise. If it only lived for a week and a half recheck the whole charging system startin with battery and grounds.

I started with the obvious first so already changed the bulb but no luck. How would I check the grounds?

Follow the harnness back from the bulb. Make sure none of wire are broken or damaged. Grounds are usually wires that ar connected to the body by bolts. Your lookin for corrosion or broken connectors.
