I have a 99 Ls 400 with the intergrated phone in the center console... Question is, although I know its a proprietary system, shouldn't one of the brass pin in the plug be an audio line out... Has anyone tried to isolate it for use with a iPod? Seems like it would be a elegant solution since the phone itself is worthless, I realize you would not be able to utilize the steering wheel controls.

Thanks.... Didn't even know it only went to one speaker... Probably would still sound better than the cassette adapter lol.... Anyway even an adapter to utilize the charger with the iPhone would at least give it functionality I would use so if anyone runs across anything pease come back and post here.....
