When charging my iphone with the USB port, I am unable to stream music using Bluetooth. Switching to ipod mode does not seem to work either. Is there any way I can re-charge my phone (on usb) and continue to stream music on the 2015 GS 350? I have the ML system. Thanks

 

I have a high wattage usb adapter in the console 12v socket.
I plug my phone into that rather than the factory usb port, keeps the phone from getting confused...and charges the phone faster.

 

jonathancl is correct, use the 12v to charge. The USB only puts out 500 milliamps (.5 amp).
If you have tunes on an iPod you can USB that and just use the Bluetooth for the phone/streaming music/texts.

and im able to charge an iphone and my daughter's ipad at the same time .

 

Thanks guys. Any recommendations for a good car charger? I have used a bunch in the past.. but they seem to do a poor job charging my phone.

 

This is a suit issue with Apple music I think. Go to Apple music and click this button after you plugin the iPod you want to then switch to Lexus GS instead of dock connector
