Default 1996 Lexus Ls400

Hey guys Im new to the forums so i figured id make a thread about my 96 ls400. Ive had the car for a little over a year and haven't done any work to it, car drives and feels great 170k miles on it so far, a few months ago i was in a minor accident and had a tree fall on the car so i decided it is time to give my ls a new look. The car is currently all stock with an Ebony teal pearl and grey two tone paint job. I plan on repainting the entire car with a Black swartz pearl and changing out all the current lighting.

Before i started work on the car: (pre fender bender)

After my little accident

After the tree damage was fixed

Bumper fixed and the headlights and grill pulled

Last steps before paint, wet sanding and removed the grill and headlights, i am changing all the lighting and the grill which suffered damage from the accident.

All ready for paint

All painted next step compounding and then all new lighting

All paint finished and lighting installed

Just wondering. Since you're painting, are you thinking of also painting the bottom panels to have monotone color?

Nice job. Did you pull the grey moldings and the chrome trim when you painted the car?
