MY LS has Check Engine Light On and Off !??!
Hello ~
Today when I left I started my car and the Check engine light came on, and then went off then came back on again. Does this mean something is really wrong? I did some fast driving the night before in the car maybe that has something to do with it?? Well the car is going into Lexus next week and I will tell them, however anything I sould look out for ? any advice would be great. Whatever it was that set off the light (sensor) will the malfunction be stored In the computer?
Thank You,
Paul

My 94 LS400 was doing the same thing last month. I went ahead and pulled the codes from the computer and read a 25 and 26 I believe if I remember right (rich and lean mixture codes) and took it in to the dealer. It was one of the main O2 sensors. They replaced both of them at the same time since that is what they recommend. Cost approx $500 or so.
