Default Check Engine Light and Tracking Off Flashing

Hello Everyone,

I have 2001 IS 300 with 205K miles. Recently my car following problem

1 Check engine light solid
2 Traction Off flashing
3 When you press the gas the car was moving slow.

after the car was shut off and waiting for few mins the car started working fine but check engine light was solid and tracking was flashing but no issue when pressing gas. the car was driving normal. I went for 1 week vacation and after I get back home the check engine light went away and so did traction. Car is driving fine without any issue.

Did anyone experience this type of issue?
Do you know what it could be?

I love my car and don't want to get rid of it even with 205K miles People call me crazy but when I press the peddle to the metal the car still has power.

I had a solid Check Engine light with a flashing TRAC OFF light for a while, but with no detectable difference in performance. Turned out to be an O2 sensor - replaced that, and a few months later the same lights came back on and that turned out to be another O2 sensor. Did a DIY replacement and the problem has been solved since then. But I had to get the diagnostic code to figure out the problem, and which O2 sensors to replace.

There are shops and auto parts stores (Autozone is one) that will check your diagnostic code for you at no charge; you can then search the result online to figure out what the problem is. Hope it's something simple like it was with my car.

Default P1120 code

One of my friend had ODB reader and we checked the code and it was P1120 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Now the question is do I need to replace

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

or Throttle Position Sensor
