95 Rear Trailing Arm Bushing
I bought a couple of ADUS 5056TA rear trailing arm bushings. Im trying to figure out which arm it actually is. Some people use different names for different arms so it gets confusing. Here is a diagram from Sewell Lexus so if anyone can point out which one it is id appreciate it. Thanks

well the rear trailing arm (aka rear strut rod) consists of 2 bushings, the ones on both ends of the bar listed as 48780A, which are two DIFFERENT bushings.
the rear strut rod bushing is the 5056 adus (and not sold separately from lexus afaik, may be wrong) and is the bushing that is IN the bar itself.
the rear spindle/carrier bushing is at the other end, and is the one at the very bottom of the spindle (where the strut rod bolts to) and is the ADUS 505

Did you forget a digit in 4870A or am I blind? I also dont see any arm with a bushing on both ends.
Im guessing 5056 goes into 48780A and 505 goes into the spindle where 48780A connects to?

Thank you. Now its time to put this stuff all in. I wish adus made more bushings for the ucf20 as they do for the ucf10.
BTW, what specific kind of grease do you guys recommend for these poly bushings. Ive heard Daizen grease works well.

Has anyone ran adus 5056 before? Do these need to be machine pressed? The od of the bushing seems to be slightly larger then the id of the strut rod. Adus 505 goes in perfectly by hand.

Sorry to bump an old thread. Im having issues with my ADUS rear trailing arm bushing 5056-TA.
It seems that the inner diameter of the adus bushing is the same outer diameter of the arm where its supposed to be pressed into. It seems almost impossible for it to be pressed in. How did you guys go about installing yours? My mechanic says that if he uses a press it will likely damage the bushing since the inner diameter when sat on top of the arm looks like its flush fitment with the outer diameter of the arm. Not sure how to do this, but need help asap since my mechanic charges by the hour
And the old bushing is already pressed out and cannot be put back in unless I buy a whole new arm

This is what I'd do.
EDIT: Nevermind, I read your post again....if the inner diameter of the bushing is the same as the outter diameter of the bushing housing, so the bolt must be really loose inside the bushing right? There's no way to fit that bushing in there plus the bolt won't even be secured. Best bet, source another used trailing arm somewhere .

Got it fixed guys. Took it to a machining shop and they put it on the lathe and made the overall bushing diameter a tad bit smaller so it would fit into the arm. Phew, scared me a for a sec, thinking I would have to buy another trailing arm.
Thanks for the help though!

Wow nice, I should probably do that too. I didnt end up using mine cause you can clearly see its not gonna fit. It should fit from the get go though. Maybe they labeled it wrong and its only for ucf10? Who knows.
