Which ADUS bushing goes with which arm?
Hi,
My mechanic showed me the bushing that is almost gone. He lifted the car so I can see. I want to change the bushing to ADUS but don't if it is available or which ADUS bushing will fit. My confusion is that people call these "arms" all by different names. BTW, the bushing is in the rear. I have attached a pic of the rear suspension components for a 96 LS. From the picture, the bushing I need is for part #14. ADUS also has a part number #583 as well. Can someone also tell me which ADUS bushing goes with which "arm" by the diagram part#? Please let me know. Please help. Thanks.

By the looks of it, the part 14 you are referring to is commonly called the strut rod. Officially it is called the the rear trailing arm or rear carrier arm. I am not familiar with the ADUS part numbers so you will have to research a little more on this. You need to find the bushings for the REAR TRAILING ARM or REAR CARRIER ARM bushings. This should help you, even though the tutorial is for a different year LS, it is still the same process to replace.

In fact if you look at the tutorial, just looked myself. It says that you need ADUS 505 to replace the part.
