whats it take to get the dash out of a 1st gen?

a lot, mostly everything attached needs to get removed. its a hassle.

well i have a blemish on my dash and have a dashmat over it..i actually can get one thats in good shape off craigslist

looks good..

i would start with the bottom panels on driver/passenger side. then center console and remove your climate control and headunit. cluster needs to be removed, some clips that hold the harness behind the cluster will need to popped out. removing the steering wheel would also be alot easier.
