Default removing dash

(1990 LS)

Does anyone know how to remove the actual top section of the dash? There is an annoying rattle underneath the plastic on the passenger side by the front window vent (closest to the front windshield.) I'll post a pic if I have time. I think this requires removing the entire dash piece all the way across..blah..

Ouch...not recommended. Toyotas are a ***** as far as taking off the dash goes. Is there no way you can fix the rattle withought removing dash?

i just spend about $400 two days ago fixing a rattle by the instrument cluster. It has a rattle noise with speed sensitive. The mechanice replace my cluster and all the noise is gone.

The cluster i got has 184k miles and all the flourence lights work..
