Fusible Link, Relay or other...
I can drive my vehicle with no problem. The interior lights, dash, radio, heater, etc. will not turn on. Also, my exterior lights, trunk, hood, etc. will not open electronically. I did notice that the hazard lights work, but nothing else electrical work. (I THINK my gear shift has power, i.e lights up, not sure can only drive during the day)
I replaced the battery Friday, and the alternator Saturday. I was told by Pep Boys it was an electrical problem that is causing the alternator to drain.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem, while repairing my stupid P.S issues on accident I touched the alternator with the wrench causeing it to short out...Yea I know I should have unplugged the battery...live and learn. Anyways my car drove great no probs but all my electronics other than my headlights didnt work. Turns out I blew the 120amp fuse under the hood. Its grey with clear top and a pain the a$$ to take out. You have unbolt the top nut and on the side of it theres a push in clip that hard to unclip so i just pulled till it snapped out...then you open the sides and unbolt the fuse using a 8m and a 10mm both sides are different sizes for some reason...or atleast mine was.

No headlights, tail lights, interior, radio, heat, dash, power seats, windows, alarm, etc. Nothing. The car will drive and that is it. No power options at all.
The only thing I did notice is if I turn on the hazard lights, I can see them flashing on the dash and in the rear lights of the vehicle, but nothing else lights up.

I took it to a electronic specialist this morning because I need this vehicle fixed or at least diagnosed asap. In KY we have had a lot of snow and bitter cold temps and due to that, I have not been able to go over the vehicle like I had anticipated. I will keep you informed on what they say.
I just bought this vehicle Friday and I was told it was just the alternator. I knew that would be an easy and less expensive fix. Well...that is not the problem. The previous owner must have really taken care of this vehicle, it is cleeeeeeean on the inside, outside and under the hood, and it only has 165,000 miles. It was a new car trade in. I did a carfax report and no problems was reported and it was one owner since its origination. I got the car really cheap and I am hoping it is not because of this "mysterious" power problem. Even without the power, this vehicle drives and sounds like a dream, so I am hoping that my great financial find do not turn into a great financial burden
