Default Parasitic electrical draw help plz :)

LS400 1990.

I have got as far as locating it to the DOM fuse in the engine fusebox, but that fuse operates several things within the car, dome light, central locking, truck light, sunroof yadda yadda.

Where do I go from here to isolate things further, the foot-well fusebox has nothing to do with this, so where do things separate?

Or is it a case of ripping stuff out?

Thanks Zappy

I just did, what further info do you want?

I have a parasitic drain on the battery which I have narrowed down to the DOM fuse in the engine fusebox, but that fuse switches off all the things I listed, so it won't be all those things will it? Yeah, getting it, quite plain.

So what is between the fuse in the engine fusebox and all those items is a lot of wiring, so where, or does all that wiring separate, block whatever to divert to each of those individual things, it must somewhere, if it does where is that block separator, if there is one, or if there is one, is it too impossible to trace there and am I better to start taking the lighting units off etc. I already took off the interior lighting/sunroof control panel and the trunk light, no change.

I think it was clear enough the first time.

The DOM fuse has nothing to do with the alarm, that's on a separate fuse?

lose the attitude, if someone asks you for clarification obviously its because your OP wasn't specific enough.

the DOME fuse controls many electrical functions, so before you rule it out, go check it/try removing it to see if it helps.

what's the point of asking for help then disagreeing/disregarding with everyone's recommendations?

the alarm ecu, and even the trunk hinge wiring have been known to cause battery drain. as have loose terminals.

Agreed , your asking for help not me . Go buy a wiring schematic if your so smart . Then you might know the multiplex system that crosses over . There are parking lights on one circuit and the alarm controls them also just like it monitors the dome light and trunk light .

BTW saying you have draw is meaningless without the details. What is the amperage draw , constant or variable . So many other inputs needed but you knew that already.
