$108.62 not including shipping from parts.com .

These things can become very brittle over time so I doubt if it is worthwhile to get a used one. Even a new one that has been sitting on a shelf for 15 years might have degraded a bit.

After I found the undercover dragging on the ground and trashed after I picked up my previous LS from a Lexus dealer, I decided to always remove the undercover before I take an LS in for service. Before that, it seemed like I was always replacing missing undercover bolts and replacing the little plastic threaded inserts underneath the bumper that a mechanic stripped when over-tightening the front bolts.

The indie repair shop I use has been good about not damaging my car but I'm still going to remove the undercover before I have them do the 120K service in a few weeks.

Interesting point on the unit being brittle. My 95 is starting to sag in the middle - can't help but wonder if it is due to the many oil changes where the tech was too lazy to fully remove it - rather he would take a few screws out and pry it down to remove the oil filter.

My 94 LS does not leak so i do not see the point of having one?
It only serves to get in my way. Hard to believe it is a big aerodynamic aid of any kind.

it exists for only 2 reasons:
1-splash prevention
2-aerodynamic aid, smoothing air flow and preventing turbulence under the front end of the car (which would be bad, creating lift).

I won't drive here in MA in the winter without it. I go through the car wash all the time and get an undercarriage wash to wash away all the salt and sand that gets all over the bottom of the car all winter long. I wouldn't want the high pressure spray getting up into my alternator or other electrical parts on a regular basis.

I just threw mine away about a month ago. I tried salvaging it during the 2 years I've had the car. It finally reached it's end though. I do need to get a replacement as I do not like salt and sand spewing all over my engine.
