Exclamation can someone help me!!!

ive been trying to find the splash guard that goes directly under the engine. ive looked all over the internet trying to find someone that would sale this item but i have had no luck. does someone know of a website that sells lexus parts liek this? thank you in advance for any help that you might provide.

That's most likely dealer only. Try Carson Toyota in CA, ask for the parts dept and tell them what u need, Tap auto Recycling, or your local junk yard.

i talked to my local dealer about that cus i want a new one and they quoted me $236.91

$108.87 at parts.com (I looked up 1998-2000 LS400, it may be diff.from other years)

Well, just wondering...what year is your LS firsthand?
I found mine on sewell lexus parts online for less than $100 plus shipping.
Mine is for a 90-94.

i took mine off...easier to change out oil filter.....and it would seem to me to allow more hot air to escape from engine

Maybe not such a good idea. It helps to keep water off of the alternator when its raining or driving through puddles. Also, here in the northeast, there's too much road salt and the like during the winter. Everything would take a beating. I'd be afraid to go through a car wash with an undercarriage wash as well. An undercarriage wash is a must around here.

its pretty dry in Florida.but i will keep that in mind.I did not think about the altenator getting wet thanks.
