Default Sewell Parts?

Someone on here mentioned Sewell parts. Some of the links on their site don't work. Are their parts genuine Lexus parts? Are they dealer only? If it's for consumers, is it cheaper than buying parts directly from the Lexus dealer?

Thanks

charley95, Sewell is a Lexus dealer and sells genuine parts. Sometimes it says Toyota on the box but it's the same part your local dealer uses. As a CL vendor, they give us a nice discount just by setting up an account. When you do, make sure you indicate you're a member of Club Lexus by filling out the information on the bottom of the page. I've ordered from them and many other CL vendors without any issues (full list of CL vendors here). Sewell prices are typically lower than your local dealership. One way to check is to look up a part on Sewell's website, note the price and part number, then call your local dealer to see what they charge for the same item. Now Sewell does charge shipping so take that into account. It's usually more cost effective to order a few items at a time.

I'm not sure what links you are having problems with. I'd suggest bookmarking this page specifically for the 2014 RX 350. Plus you can PM Sewell directly with any questions.

Thanks for the info. Being a first time import car owner I have a lot to learn about the Lexus line.
I finally gave up on Detroit cars and won't look back after buying my RX 350.

Well, I turned in my wonderful Detroit built car 16 years ago and have zero regrets. A dear friend told me 'with quality you only cry once' soon after buying my first RX. So true.
