HAHA I tried that when I was a noob too. Didn't work out well hahaha.

The DIY is in the UCF20 FAQ.

Good Luck!

One person did it, but he wont tell me how. This does not work with the cars that have HIDS.

So who knows.

It works with HID's and with DRL's .
How do i know ?
I did it to my 1998 LS so my fogs can come on with only the parking lights , they still turn off with the high beams as it is an internal circuit that cannot be easily manipulate on the actual stalk.
Similar to the GS but different color wiring, their is a tutorial on here as well way back.
You need to remove a fuse panel under the dash to access the relay on the back of it and need a add a fuse kit for simple wire connections as well as running a wire to the steering column to the light switch.

what if i ...i mean without messing with the relay and fuse box ..what if i have cut my fog lights wires and reconnect them to my parking lights(same will be done on both sides) ?
so it will be like one source to turn on two lights ( parking + fog lights).
so it will be something like this pic

will that cause any damage? effects on car battery.
any one tried that?

you'll fry your wiring harness.
headlights pull a LOT more power than your parking lights and the harnesses are appropriately gauged from the factory to take said power.

don't ghetto-rig your car please, if you want to mess with it do it right ONCE.

I beleive you are right man, but still how come some guys do that then puredrifter ...this is what they told me (just forget this then).
i had noticed that some lexus owners have only their high beams turned on without fog lights, low beams......something i call high beam mod
it seems that you guys are not going to post any pictures to show such a noob like me the way to do it my self.
i had searhced in the forums...there are few threads about that, but without pictures..i even googled for that...nothing which can be usefull for UCF20.

its not a high beam mod, many lexus have OEM DRL which runs the highbeams at ~1/4-1/2 power constantly. also, WHENEVER the highbeams are on, the lows (sometimes) and fogs are supposed to be off depending on which model you are talking about.
